To date, Scribbr has grown based on successful SEO and content marketing. We recognize we need a dedicated marketer who will work to improve our marketing activities on our French domain to continue this growth.

As the Country Marketing Manager for France, you will be responsible for maintaining, expanding, growing, and optimizing all marketing channels in France. Your main focus will be driving our growth in the French market by expanding our existing content marketing & SEO activities. Over time, you will grow into exploring new marketing channels like offline/online partnerships, advertising, etc. You’ll dive deep into France-specific study methods to learn more about how a French student can benefit from Scribbr’s services: what services do they use while studying, how do they study, and which trends in education do you see in France?

Your key partners will be our Country Marketing Managers over the Netherlands & DACH regions. You will support each other’s efforts towards localization and alignment with the broader company vision, product roadmap, regional opportunities, and overall push towards increased revenue growth.

Your main responsibilities as a Country Marketing Manager for France are:

Leading the creation & execution of our regional marketing strategy in France, in alignment with company-level & other regional strategies:

  • Oversee all content on
  • Revise, optimize and/or adjust our Plagiarism and Proofreading landing pages.
  • Reach and/or maintain #1 SEO rankings in Google.
  • Introducing new products like our Grammar Checker by drafting new landing pages
Identify and develop new business and/or marketing opportunities with the goal of increasing revenue:
  • Expand local brand presence, increase service awareness, and establish successful partnerships.
  • Conduct market research, build user journey maps, and continue to develop an understanding of our student users’ needs.
  • Scale existing paid channels effectively while testing new ideas & untapped channels in parallel.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience in B2C digital marketing, including diverse experience across acquisition channels
  • Demonstrated experience in content marketing & SEO
  • Product-driven, user-centric approach to understanding a customer’s needs
  • Entrepreneurial mentality that shows results
  • Adaptability: able to adjust and pivot easily when a chosen path needs to change due to strategic shifts, operational constraints or when presented with new information
  • Fluent in French speaking, but moreover in writing. Can showcase strong French copy examples in previous role
