At Scribbr, we are committed to continued growth, scaling our business in continuous support of our company mission—successfully guiding more students on their journey to become better academic writers!
To date, Scribbr has grown based on successful SEO and content marketing. For this growth to continue, we recognize the need for a better understanding of how our student users think and act and how we can optimize our products to become the best writing companion for these students.
Using a hypothesis-driven approach to product development, we test our ideas through rapid experimentation, get feedback from users, and iterate until we find something that works and gets us closer to our goal of becoming the best writing companion for students.
As a UX Designer, you will be joining the newly formed Growth Team, where you will be working alongside a Growth Lead, CRO Specialist, and Email Marketer. Your role in this team will be to contribute to ideas for experimentation, translate those ideas into visually pleasing and converting designs, and set up tests using A/B testing tooling. You will have a big and measurable effect on the development of products that help students improve their academic writing every day. Because we have shifted to this experimentation-driven approach this year, we are looking for talents to support and improve this way of working.
Your main responsibilities as a UX Designer are:
Contributing to ideas for conversion rate optimization (CRO) from a design, psychology, and usability perspective.
Conducting usability tests to identify problems and opportunities for improvement in the user experience.
Creating wireframes, prototypes, and fully functional designs for isolated experiments and entirely new landing pages and order flows.
Collaborating with multi-functional teams, including the CRO specialist, product managers, country marketing managers, and operations to ensure that the final product meets the users' needs and aligns with the business goals.
Facilitating brainstorming sessions on new (product) initiatives, customer journey mapping, and building user personas.
